This vegan mango ice cream just takes 10 minutes to make.  Its dairy-free, full of healthy fruits and just a touch of agave syrup to sweeten it up.

Vegan mango ice cream is easier to whip up at home than you think!  No need to buy any expensive gourmet ice creams from the shops because you can make it yourself in just 10 minutes.

How do you make vegan mango ice cream?

In this recipe, we use the tropical flavours of ripe mangoes, bananas and coconut milk.  Then we add agave syrup to sweeten it up and some lemon juice for some tartness to round out the flavours.  Simply put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.  Pour in an airtight container and freeze until hardened and voilà! You have homemade mango ice cream!

The best part is, you know exactly what ingredients are in the ice cream and how fresh the ingredients are.  Also, you can tailor the sweetness and tartness to your liking.  A lot of store bought ice creams are too high in sugar or contain processed ingredients.  Junk that you probably prefer to eat less of when you can.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups ripe mango
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup

Instructions
 

  • In the blender, add all ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • Taste for sweetness and tartness, adding more agave syrup or lemon juice if desired.
  • Pour in an air-tight container and freeze until frozen.
  • Allow to thaw for 5 minutes for easier scooping. Enjoy!
