Falafel burgers with a yogurt dill sauce is a delicious, easy and healthy meal. Layered with avocado and cucumbers, sandwiched between a buttery brioche bun, you’ve got yourself a delectable combination of flavours and textures.Â
This falafel burger recipe is a meal that’s packed with protein and fiber from chickpeas and healthy fats from the avocado. It’s a vegetarian meal that’ll leave you feeling full and satisfied.  Another bonus is that falafel burger patties are very easy to make. Simply put everything in the food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Then you form them into patties with your hand and pan fry. If you want a lighter option, you can also bake or air fry them without any oil.
For the sauce, I opted for a tangy yogurt dill sauce that’s made with Greek yogurt, garlic, dill, salt and pepper. If you want an extra boost of nutrition, add a tablespoon of nutritional yeast. It adds a slightly cheesy, nutty flavour while also being a great source of protein, B vitamins and minerals. Nutritional yeast also contains powerful antioxidants and is said to boost immunity.
