Easy Banana Oatmeal Mug Cakes

If you don't enjoy oatmeal but want to enjoy the health benefits of it, here's an easy and delicious way to eat oats - banana oatmeal mug cakes! They're made with oats and no flour but amazingly tastes like cake!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/4 cup oat milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, pulse rolled oats into a flour-like consistency.
  • Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • Pour batter into 2 mugs. Batter can be made the night before and kept in the refrigerator.
  • Microwave for 2.5 mins. If the top looks like its not cooked yet, microwave for another 30 seconds.
  • Top with fresh fruits and maple syrup if desired. Enjoy!
