Wakame Seaweed Salad

This delicious wakame seaweed salad is a nutritional powerhouse that can be made in just 15 minutes! Its sweet and vinegary dressing has a nice kick with the addition of chili flakes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup dried wakame
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Soak wakame seaweed in cold water for 5 minutes to rehydrate. Rinse and drain well.
  • Julienne the cucumber.
  • To make the dressing, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, chili flakes and sesame seeds.
  • Mix the dressing with wakame and serve.
